44. Visit the Met in NYC
I got a phone call from my wonderful boyfriend Friday morning telling me that he booked us a room at the Hilton in Times Square for this weekend!! He wanted to take me for a romantic getaway, and knew New York would be perfect, so we packed our bags and headed up to the city. We had sushi at this great little sushi bar in Midtown, got cupcakes at Magnolia's bakery, (which are the best cupcakes EVER in my opinion) and cheesecake from Junior's (also highly recommended). We spent Saturday evening walking around The Village, shopping and stopping off for some drinks before heading back uptown.
While we were there we also visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met), which is something I've wanted to do for a very long time. It's something that has always been on my list but have never had time for. We had such a great time together!
