71. Be prepared for an exam WITHOUT last minute cramming
One thing I think I learned from this one is that I'm never going to stop last-minute studying for ANY exam. It's just my nature. I worry about exams no matter how prepared I am for them, and will probably always use every last available minute to jam some more knowledge in before the big test.
With that said, I just completed my mid-term exam for Advanced Immunology, and although I did some last minute studying, it was definitely a review rather than learning new material. I've kept up with all the readings, lectures, and class discussions since January and didn't need to spend the week reading all of the course material. Although my grades didn't change from my cramming days (still getting A's), I was definitely a lot less stressed about the exam. Woo!
Of course it helps that Immunology is a topic I really enjoy....I'm a nerd :)
